Change in crating costs

Over the past several nonths, CHR has continued to look for ways to offer the best helicopter kit at the best price, to you, our clientele. We have been successful in isolating a few volatile cost items, the first of which is our crating costs.
When a Safari is shipped out, builders have been supplied with a sturdy timber and plywood crating for the tailboom, cab and bubble. Inside those crates have been plywood containers for the main & tail rotor transmissions, the main rotor head and the main rotor blades.
The overall cost of making these crates has continued to escalate to the point where CHR must make a change. The changed policy will be as follows:
  1. Crating for transmissions, main rotor head and main rotor blades will remain at no additional cost to the customer
  2. Customers who pick up their order at the Marianna or Ear Falls facilities and do not require crating, will continue to do so at no addional costs.
  3. Crating for any new orders will be assessed a levy of $1,000 for a complete order, or $350.00 per plywood/timber crate to accomodate the order.
Effective Date: 10/01/05
